A little bit about me.
Hi, I'm Simon, owner and Director of 2K9 Pet Services Ltd. Thank you for taking the time to look through my website.
Previously working for small independent companies taught me that getting a good reputation and customer service is key to success, this is something I take very seriously. I work hard to tailor the services offered to the individual needs of you, the client, and more importantly your pets routine and needs.
Sadly both my German Shepherd's Winny and Luna (who were the reason I started working with dogs and began my business) have crossed to Rainbow Bridge but they still remain a massive part of my company.
Starting in 2009, I wanted to give owners and their pets the socialisation, enjoyment and professional care they individually deserve. I walk up to a maximum of 4 dogs at one time (weather dependent), this allows them to learn how to maintain the social skills that keep them mentally and physically stimulated whilst making friends and most importantly, having fun!
For dog training, I focus more on behavioural issues that your dog may have and work with you and them to get your dog back to how you want it and make them less stressed or reactive. I use positive reinforcement methods and allow the dog to make its own decision and reward good choices rather than punish/correct them when they do something unwanted.
I have recently taken, completed and passed a behavioural training course with the IMDT and have done many webinars and day courses to further and brush up on my knowledge in order to help me train your dogs back to how you want them.
Courses/webinars/zooms I have taken:
2 Day - Career As A Dog Trainer
LEVEL THREE 6 Months. Learning, Motivation and Reinforcement
1 Day - Canine Body Language
1 day - Resource Guarding
1 Day - Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation
Breed and Predatory Motor Patterns
Learning Theory Explained
2 day - The Consultation And Follow-Up Report
Funk Up Your Classes
Behaviour Case Studies 1
I look forward to caring for your pets!
